Ajax MultiTransmitter

Module for integrating third-party wired devices into Ajax
Repair of wired alarm systems
Dozens of detectors and kilometers of cables can now be easily transformed into a modern, smartphone-controlled security system. The module replaces the old security system, connects wired devices to a hub and makes them part of Ajax. MultiTransmitter is a step towards information and reliability. For a security company, this opens up the possibility of controlling devices remotely. In addition, users get all the benefits of system management via the Ajax app.
Further Ajax functions
IR light barriers, domestic gas, temperature, liquid level detectors and much more: with MultiTransmitter, the devices are ready to expand Ajax's areas of application. In addition, the wired connection and compliance with international safety industry standards ensure full compatibility.
New functions with old devices
MultiTransmitter has 18 wired zones, each of which can be configured in the Ajax app. The detectors connected to the zones can be active 24/7, work with input or output delay, activate sirens on demand and participate in automated scenarios. With MultiTransmitter, the old alarm system becomes part of a secure and smart home.
More information about alarms
With MultiTransmitter, you can define the type of alarm and the room for each wired device. This makes the notifications more informative: you not only know what has happened, but also where. This information is displayed in push notifications and text messages and is also sent to the emergency call and service control center (NSL) under the corresponding code. A total of five types of alarms are available: Burglary, fire, medical assistance, emergency button, gas alarm.
Reliable wireless communication without compromise
MultiTransmitter communicates with a hub center via an encrypted radio protocol Jeweller. This is a time division multiplexing method (TDMA technology) developed by Ajax Systems for uninterrupted communication between devices. Jeweller detects interference, switches to a different frequency in the event of interference and allows Ajax wireless devices to run on the same batteries for years.
- Two-way communication over a distance of up to 2000 meters
- Alarm delivery in 0.15 seconds
- Adjustable scanning interval from 12 seconds
- Learn more about Jeweller
- Unlimited security
When using ReX radio repeaters, the Ajax security network can cover up to 35 square kilometers. However, if some rooms are impermeable to radio waves, connecting wired devices via MultiTransmitter is the optimal alternative. The cables can be up to 400 meters long.
Protected against sabotage
MultiTransmitter informs you immediately if the connected devices are tampered with: Power failure, interruption of the signal cable or activation of the tamper switch. Power failures on site are also no problem. The reserve battery can supply devices with power for up to 4 days. The MultiTransmitter itself is equipped with two tamper switches that react to the removal of the integration module from the holder and the removal of the cover.
- Immediate detection of connection failures to the wired device (EOL)
- Compartment for spare battery 7 A⋅h
- 2 tamper switches that detect disassembly and opening of the housing
- Designed by professionals for professionals
We have ensured that the installation and setup process does not require any additional time or effort. Like other Ajax devices, the MultiTransmitter connects to the hub via QR code. When connecting wired devices, you do not need to know the resistance values of the resistors. The system also warns you if the device is not connected correctly.
